About Us

Hi

Welcome to Harald’s News a blog that has been set up for University students and graduates. The aim of the blog is to post regular updates of student fairs and provide useful links for CV and letter writing. Info about free career development seminars and motivational talks can also be found under our “useful links” label. The blog also has an open forum where discussion on any thoughts and feelings on this matter are welcome.

Please feel free to be part of the blog and share any useful information or links you may be hiding. They do say “sharing is caring” after all!!!!

A brief introduction about Harald’s News bloggers is; we are a group of three 3rd year students at London Metropolitan University studying Event Management.

If I begin with Harald (you can see the connection now right!?). Harald is the luckiest one out of us three as he will be starting his career in Project Management this May. Harald has received an offer of work in Germany, where he is originally from and is looking forward to a fruitful career ahead of him. This job opportunity was found through the “Learn through work” module at London Metropolitan University.

Secondly we have Yuhan who is originally from Taiwan but now living in Essex with her husband, Yuhan has a great passion for the Arts and would love to be involved in either Gallery exhibitions, conferences, banquets or any kind of sporting event. You can find her at all of the museums, galleries and exhibitions around London especially Art influenced ones! She is currently looking for work whilst finishing her degree.

And lastly there is me, Zena who is very jealous of Harald’s job offer as I too would love to get into Project management. I live I London with my boyfriend and two cats and love events as I love to talk and meet new people. Having been a florist for 8 years I may also think of having my own events company in the future but for now I would like to try my hand at Project Management. I am also currently looking for work whilst finishing my degree.

We hope you enjoy the blog and find some useful information and links to better your careers and brighten your futures.

All the best and good luck

Harald, Yuhan and Zena
